Raster Printers Limited is the exclusive UK Distributor of the Raster Printers Inc range of  Wide Format production printing systems.  The Company’s products will be sold and supported by our own personnel as well as through select dealer partners.

Established in May 2006 Raster Printers Ltd is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest quality wide format production printing systems, utilising the latest technology for UV Flatbed Digital Printing.  We also provide inks, software, colour management, training solutions and production digital cutting solutions from Kongsberg.

Raster Printers Inc. (RPI), a wide format graphics printing systems Company was founded in Palo Alto, California in early 2004. The Company’s mission is to provide the highest quality wide format production printing systems including printers, inks, software and technical support on a worldwide basis, initially in North America and now in the UK with Raster Printers Limited.

RPI’s product development strategy is based on having three organizations, two in the USA and one in Asia. The USA team is responsible for doing market research, printer developmend and manufacturing, conceptual product design, product testing, documentation, sales, marketing, and customer service and support. This team works closely with the Asian team which is responsible for manufacturing products to high quality standards at a significant cost advantage. With this dual approach, the Company believes that it can produce high quality products with cost savings of approximately 30% when compared to other inkjet manufacturing organizations.

To be able to offer the highest quality products, the Company identifies all the critical sub-systems in the printer and these parts are procured globally from the best available manufacturers. For example, print heads, head carriage drive and media feed motors, head carriage rail, UV curing lamps, and encoder are all sourced from the USA European or Japanese suppliers. As part of this quality focus RPI has also established a Quality Assurance team in Hong Kong to closely monitor the manufacturing process.

Mr Rak Kumar, the founder and CEO of RPI was the previous CEO of Oce Display Graphics and Raster Graphics. At Raster Graphics and Oce, Mr Kumar was responsible for the introduction of some of the most successful graphics products in the industry including the Arizona family of roll to roll Solvent printers and Flatbed UV printers.
